Remake Cornwall Project CIC is a community-led organisation based in Penzance, Cornwall, focused on textile reuse, sustainable skills, creativity, and wellbeing.
We believe that practical skills, creativity, and community connection can make a real difference in people’s lives. Our aim is to create welcoming and inclusive spaces where people can come together to learn, share knowledge, build confidence, and feel supported.
Through workshops, repair sessions, upcycling projects, and community activities, we encourage people to rethink waste and rediscover the value of making, repairing, and reusing textiles. We want to make sustainable living more accessible while also helping people develop practical skills that can improve wellbeing, confidence, and opportunities for employment.
Our work is rooted in the belief that creativity should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience. We are especially passionate about supporting people in disadvantaged communities who may feel isolated, excluded, or unable to access creative opportunities.
With over 30 years of experience in textiles, our project combines traditional skills with a modern approach to sustainability and community wellbeing. We aim to build connections between people, reduce textile waste, and create positive lasting impact through practical, hands-on learning.
Together, we believe small actions can create meaningful change — for people, communities, and the environment.
